Current Programs and Initiatives
GBRIA's programs are developed from issues that are
important to our members. The membership is
surveyed regularly and the board of directors develop an
annual Strategic Plan to carry out programs to
accomplish the plan.
Our
Strategic Objectives for 2007-2010 are:

Achieve injury & incident free
operations
Ensure access to a competitive and
skilled craft contractor
workforce

Drive development of the long-term, sustainable model(s)
for craft training for our members
Build support in the local
community for sustainable development of our
industries -
Facilitate operational
excellence through networking and exchanges
GBRIA
leverages its membership size to provide classes
and workshops such as: Crisis Media Training and
Maintenance Planner Training. We are also implementing a community outreach effort
