Promote Sustainable Development
GBRIA
members have been an integral part of their
communities for over 50 years, however continue
to face many challenging issues. The
following programs seek to help industry remain
a vital partner in the Baton Rouge area for many
years to come.

Improve local community perception of
industry by engaging the media through
periodic press releases on key issues

Change public perception on the benefits of
working in industry and trades as a worthy
career by developing a community outreach
presentation that can be used in public
meetings and schools

Provide greater recognition for excellence
in safety, security, skills improvements,
education and more through developing new
recognition programs

Increase investment and growth of industry
in the region through zoning/planning, local
government and economic development
interfaces
-
Improve tort, regulatory and legislative
climate by supporting LCA, LBGH, LMOGA, LABI
and other aligned organizations.
