Security
Passport
Shortly after
9/11/2001, GBRIA members formed a committee to determine
whether a standard tool could be developed for
employers to quickly determine an individual's
eligibility for facility assignment based on criminal
background history. The committee spent many months
studying the standards of the FAA, MTSA, the Patriot Act and
others and consulted with criminal justice experts to develop a
world-class standard that meets industrial manufacturer's
needs.
In considering the
implementation of the Security Passport, several documents may
be helpful and are posted below.
Helpful Forms -
consent and disclosure, pre-adverse and adverse notice, criminal matrix,
FCRA rights, process flowchart, Patriot Act overview.
