Connie Fabré, Executive Director
Connie Fabré earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Chemical Engineering and an MBA, both at Louisiana State
University (LSU) and has 20 years of experience in plant
engineering, production and quality control; marketing,
purchasing, quality management, business consulting,
governmental affairs, and association management.
Before joining GBRIA in March 2004, Connie worked for
Exxon Chemicals in Cologne, Germany, the B.F. Goodrich
Company in Plaquemine, LA and Cleveland, Ohio, Monsanto
Company in Luling, LA, Focused Developments, LLC in
Baton Rouge, LA and the Louisiana Chemical Association,
also in Baton Rouge. Connie grew up in New Jersey and
overseas, following her father’s career with Exxon. She
came to Baton Rouge in 1976 and has adopted Louisiana as
her home. Connie enjoys the outdoors, motor sports and
spending time with her family.
Chassidy Irwin, Director of Safety, Health, Security, and Workforce Development
Chassidy DuPont earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from
LSU in General Studies with an emphasis in
communications and English. During her studies she
participated in the Boy Scouts Explorer Program at
ExxonMobil and Southern University's Summer Engineering
Program. Chassidy’s strengths lie in association
management and event coordination.
Before joining GBRIA in September 2007, Chassidy
spent two years as the Executive Director of the
Brimstone Museum & Henning Cultural Center in Sulphur,
LA. She has also worked for the Louisiana Department of
Wildlife and Fisheries, BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo, and the
Louisiana Arts and Science Museum.
Away from the office Chassidy enjoys scrap booking,
theater, volunteering, and LSU football.
Sue Dodson, Administrative Assistant
Sue Dodson, originally from Tyler, Texas, moved to Louisiana in 1974. She found Louisiana's intriguing culture, warm hearted people and fabulous food every reason to stay and raise a family. Sue's son Paul (who was trained at the ABC Craft Training Center) is an electrician and her daughter is an art major at LSU.
Sue has worked as an administrative assistant in various fields including the Louisiana Architects Association (AIA) and Task Force LLC, a local company associated with Post Katrina light property maintenance. Sue enjoys cooking for family and friends, interior decorating, traveling and yard work. |
