Benefits of Membership

Membership & participation opportunities are available for industrial/technical manufacturers, producers and research & development organizations and their suppliers and contractors in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
Would membership benefit you?

If you are a manufacturer and answer yes to any of the following questions, we have solutions for you through membership in GBRIA.

  •    Do you have a need to recruit, hire and train employees that need science, technology, engineering, math or mechanical skills?
  •     Is safety a key concern and is your work environment one where employees need to know and understand OSHA 1910 or other safety  standards?
  •     Are you interested in the image of industry and the scientific/technical careers in the region in order to attract workers to your industry?

GBRIA Membership is open to petrochemical sites, paper manufacturers, energy facilities, and other industrial manufacturing companies.

Technology and Best Practice Exchange Participation

GBRIA offers members the opportunity to participate in Technology and Best Practice Exchanges. The Safety, Health & Security Technology Exchange, the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Technology Exchange, the Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) Best Practice Exchange and the Membership and Public Affairs Best Practices Exchange. Each exchange holds quarterly lunch meetings where members and/or expert speakers address key issues, provide the latest techniques, and share real-life learning examples. The quarterly meetings are a forum for discussion between industry and its suppliers as well as a way to gain updates on GBRIA committees and activities. Each exchange meeting contributes to our mission to promote operational excellence.
