Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance elects new board members

The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) held its Annual Meeting on Jan. 22, in Baton Rouge. During the meeting, members voted to elect the following members to the Board of Directors.

GBRIA Board Members for 2026-2027:

  • Christy Blanchard, Plant Manager and Director of Operations, Rubicon
  • Rafael Gonzalez, Plant Manager, Solstice
  • Tim Harris, CEO, RES Contractors
  • Darylene Pugh, General Manager, Shell Catalysts and Technologies
  • Jeff Romig, Group Manager, Baton Rouge Asphalt, Barriere Construction
  • Nate Johnson, Senior Plant Manager, Westlake Plaquemine

The following board members will continue their 2025-2026 terms:

  • John Bruner, Director of Operations, Mississippi River Pipeline, Air Liquide
  • Chris Hernandez, Plant Manager, Eastman
  • Ryan Kerrigan, Plant Manager, ExxonMobil Polypropylene Plant
  • Doug Knittig, Director of Operations Geismar & Digital, Westlake
  • Chet Peterson, Director of Manufacturing, Shintech
  • Theo Webre, Engineering and Maintenance Director, Louisiana Operations, Dow
  • Steve Welch, Plant Manager, Oxychem, Convent
  • Tom Yura, CEO, UBE C1 Chemicals America
