At the Women in Industry Forum, female leaders from the local industrial community unite to mentor high school junior and senior female students who are interested in STEM and industrial careers.
Through hands-on activities and interactive discussions, the Forum connects students with educational resources, career pathways, and real-life role models. Our goal is to build confidence, answer questions, and help students envision themselves in rewarding industry careers—from skilled crafts to engineering, safety, operations, and beyond.

Presented in a dynamic and engaging format, the event gives industry leaders the opportunity to share their journeys, offer advice, and form meaningful connections with students.
In 2024, over 250 female students from 20 schools across five parishes attended the inaugural event in the Baton Rouge area. The forum provides a platform for each female industry leader to share their story, engage in meaningful conversation with students, and share lessons they’ve learned to get them where they are today.
