Event Format
Teams are capped at 54 total teams to maximize pace of play and networking.

Tournament will be played as a 27-Hole Continuous Rotation:

Each team’s scorecard will specify assigned holes.

Hole 18 of the Links course transitions to Hole 1 of the Lakes course.

Dress Code
All tournament participants must wear proper golf attire: collared shirts and soft spike golf shoes.
T-shirts and blue jeans are not allowed.
This is a day for fun in support of industry — PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY.

📍Pelican Point Golf & Country Club
One of the South's premiere golf facilities, Pelican Point is a semi-private golf club providing members and guests with 27 holes of golf. Pelican Point Golf Club, which covers over 450 acres of what was once a sugar cane farm, was selected by Golf Digest as one of the Best Places to Play in 2004. The golf course is surrounded by upscale residential homes and located in Ascension Parish which is one of the fastest growing Parishes in Louisiana.
Located just off the banks of the Mississippi River in Gonzales, Louisiana and behind the historic Houmas House Plantation, Pelican Point combines British Links style golf with a Louisiana flair.

⛳2025 Tournament Vendor Tent Rules
The following rules apply to all Tournament Vendors:
Setup
- Vendors may set up the morning of the event before the tournament begins.
- Optional early setup: Wednesday, November 5th, between 4:00 p.m. and sunset.
- PELICAN POINT GOLF CLUB IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEMS LEFT BEFORE OR AFTER THE TOURNAMENT.
Check-In
- All vendors must check in at the Golf Shop with a Pelican Point Golf Club staff member before entering the course.
- Vendors who fail to check in may be asked to leave immediately.
Tent & Supplies
- You must provide your own tent:
- Standard size: 10’x10’ or 15’ sidewalk frontage
- Larger setups: contact Kim Demarest
Driving & Course Access
- Always keep two tires on the cart path and park on the side furthest from the fairway.
- Driving on fairways is not permitted. This prevents damage to irrigation pipes, sprinkler heads, and drainage lines.
- Any damage caused—or trash left on the course—will result in liability for the vendor’s company. Vendors agree to reimburse Pelican Point Golf Club for any such damage.
Cooking Trailers
- Allowed only in designated areas outlined by Pelican Point Golf Club.
- No exceptions. Contact Kim Demarest (225-268-5179) in advance to confirm your spot.
- Trailers must be set up the evening before the event.
- No trailer parking is allowed in the parking lot.
Vehicles & Parking
- Limit of one vehicle per hole (if permitted at that location).
- Extra parking is available at the clubhouse.
- This will be strictly enforced by Pelican Point.
Golf Carts
- Rental carts may be available through Pelican Point Golf Club.
- Vendors must receive authorization from the Tournament Chairperson before renting.
Trash Removal
- Vendors are responsible for removing all trash.
- Trash may be disposed of in the dumpsters located behind the clubhouse.
Weather Conditions
- If the course is declared “cart path only” the day of the event, vendors must check in at the Golf Pro Shop for specific access instructions.
🌟 Best On-Course Tent Contest – Get Involved!
Each year, players vote for their favorite On-Course Tent Experience, and the winner is announced during the Awards Ceremony. This contest is a great way to stand out, showcase your company, and maximize interaction with players.
Creative themes, great food/drinks, and fun engagement at your tent can make your company the talk of the tournament! Plus—bragging rights last all year.
✅ Important Reminder: Encourage every player who visits your tent to vote! A QR code will be printed on the back of each scorecard, and we’ll also place a QR code at each tent for convenience. Don’t forget to remind participants to scan and cast their votes—it could make the difference in taking home the win!

🍲 Gumbo Cook-Off Rules & Guidelines
Roux & Ingredients
- Chicken & sausage gumbo only (no seafood category).
- Roux must be made from scratch on site (no powder or jar roux).
- Ingredients may be pre-chopped but must be in raw form (smoked sausage is acceptable).
- All ingredients will be checked off before cooking begins.
Tent & Supplies
- You must provide your own tent:
- Standard size: 10’x10’ or 15’ sidewalk frontage
- Larger setups: contact Kim Demarest before registering to confirm space availability.
- If you are bringing a trailer, it must be set up the evening before. There will be no trailer parking in the parking lot.
- Bring all cooking and serving supplies: trash bags, burners, water, rice, meat, bowls, spoons, napkins, sides, and seasonings.
- GBRIA will provide the container for judging and will deliver it to your tent by 12:30 p.m.
Event Day Details
- Check-in: Gumbo Cook-Off Coordinator. Kim (225)268-5179
- Setup:
- Begins at 6:00 a.m. on event day in the designated area.
- Optional early setup: Wednesday, November 5th, between 4:00 p.m. and sunset (contact Kim to arrange).
- Cooking: May begin only after ingredients are checked by the Gumbo Committee.(Will be specified at check-in)
- Judging: Gumbo must be delivered to the Judges’ inside table inside the clubhouse restaurant at 1:00 p.m. sharp — no rice. Gumbo must be in the provided container.
Clean-Up
- All trash must be picked up and discarded in the roll-off dumpster (near the tennis courts).
- NO TRASH IS TO BE LEFT BEHIND FROM YOUR SITE!

"Best On-Course Tent Experience" Contest
This contest is a great way to stand out, showcase your company, and maximize interaction with players.
Creative themes, great food/drinks, and fun engagement at your tent can make your company the talk of the tournament! Plus—bragging rights last all year.
- Contest is based on creativity, hospitality, and the overall atmosphere of the tent.
- Attendees can vote for their favorite tent using the QR code on the back of their scorecard.
- Voting is limited to one submission per participant.
Judging Criteria
- Welcoming Atmosphere – Fun, friendly, and engaging with players, but please keep it classy.
- Brand Representation – Effectively promotes company information or products in a fun, creative way.
- Creative Marketing – Unique activities, giveaways, or prizes that encourage participation.
- Innovative Setup – Use of technology, lighting, music, or special effects to enhance the experience.
Need to Know
- Tent participants should ensure their setup is safe, accessible, and well-maintained.
- Voting closes prior to the Awards Ceremony, and winners will be announced during the ceremony.
- Contest is optional for tent vendors, but all tents are encouraged to participate.
- The winner will receive recognition as the Best Tent Experience at the Awards Ceremony.

50/50 Money Jar
- Tickets will be available for purchase online prior to the event. On the day of the event, at the Registration Table and from designated volunteers on the course.
- Each ticket purchased will be entered into the drawing for the 50/50 Money Jar.
- The more tickets you purchase, the greater your chance of winning.
- Winner will be drawn and announced during the Awards Ceremony at the Pavilion.
- You must be present to claim your prize.
- Half of the proceeds go to the winner, and the other half supports GBRIA programs and initiatives.
- Tickets may be purchased with cash, check or credit card (or other methods if available at Registration).
- Contest is open to all tournament participants (golfers, sponsors, and guests).
- Be sure to hold on to your ticket stub(s) until the drawing. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
Mulligans
- Mulligans will be available for purchase online prior to the event. On the day of the event, at the Registration Table.
- Each Mulligan allows a player to retake one stroke on any hole during the round.
- Players may purchase a limited number of Mulligans (Limit 3 per Golfer).
- Mulligans must be used during the tournament round; they cannot be carried over or redeemed for cash.
Need to Know
- Mulligans are optional, and their use does not affect eligibility for prizes or contests.
- Proceeds from Mulligans help support GBRIA programs and initiatives.
- Keep track of your Mulligans.
Longest Drive Contest
- The Longest Drive contest is held on designated holes as marked on your scorecard.
- Each player is allowed one attempt per designated hole to qualify for the contest.
- Only golfers participating in the tournament are eligible.
- Winner is determined by the longest legal drive in the fairway.
Need to Know
- Drives must land in the fairway to qualify. Balls in the rough, sand, or out-of-bounds do not count.
- Volunteers will measure each eligible drive. Their determination is final.
- Winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony.
- In case of a tie, a sudden-death measurement may be conducted.
Closest to the Pin Contest
- Contest will be held on a designated par 3 hole.
- Each player gets one attempt during regular play.
- The ball must come to rest on the green to qualify.
- The player whose shot finishes closest to the pin will be declared the winner.
Need to Know
- A marker and measuring tape will be provided on the contest hole.
- Players must record their name and distance on the marker sheet if their shot is closer than the previous entry.
- Winner will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
- Prizes may include cash or merchandise, depending on sponsorship.
