Connie Fabré is the Executive Director of the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance. In addition to her responsibilities at GBRIA, Connie also serves as a Board of Trustee member for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), is an advisory Board member of Louisiana State University’s (LSU) Transportation Consortium of South-Central States(Tran-SET), and is the Industry Representative on the Louisiana Board of Regents’ Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (LA EPSCoR). Connie also serves on a number of Advisory Committees, including the Associated Builders and Contractors Craft Training School, the Alliance Safety Council, LSU’s Chemical Engineering Department, Southeastern Louisiana University’s Occupational Safety, Health and Environment program, and on each of the Process Technology Advisory Committees at Baton Rouge Community College, River Parishes Community College, ITI Technical College, and South Central Louisiana Technical College (River Parishes Campus).
Connie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, both at LSU and has over 25 years of experience working in plant production, quality management, business consulting, governmental and public affairs, and association management. Before joining GBRIA in March 2004, Connie worked for Exxon Chemicals in Cologne, Germany and Baton Rouge, B.F. Goodrich Company in Plaquemine, LA and Cleveland, Ohio, Monsanto Company in Luling, LA, Focused Developments, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA and the Louisiana Chemical Association.
Connie was born in New Jersey and grew up living in Hong Kong, Belgium and Germany following her father’s career with Exxon. She came to Baton Rouge as a teenager and adopted Louisiana as her home ever since. When Connie is not working, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her husband, Mike and 3 boys, Mike Jr., Austin, and Travis.

Brandon graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment. He began his career in occupational safety in 2009 working for Hartt Safety Services at ExxonMobil Polyolefins. He went on to be a Loss Control Consultant for The Timbermen Fund, a self-insured (worker’s compensation) provider and later a Safety Specialist for POOLCORP. He is a Past President and Executive Board Member of the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
Brandon facilitates GBRIA’s Safety, Health & Security Committee, GBRIA’s Quarterly Safety, Health and Security Technology Exchanges, CAER Best Practices Exchanges and GBRIA’s Contractor Safety Audit Program.
